Hospital Stainless Steel Water Tank Installation Project

This project is located in Nairobi, Kenya, involving a newly constructed 8-story general hospital with 300 beds. The hospital required water storage equipment with strict hygiene standards and reliable continuous supply for both domestic hot water and air conditioning system make-up water, necessitating corrosion-resistant and easy-to-clean storage solutions.

We supplied 4 units of SUS304 stainless steel insulated Water Tanks, each with a capacity of 10m³, totaling 40m³ of water storage. The tank inner liners are made of food-grade 304 stainless steel plate, with 50mm polyurethane foam insulation on the exterior to minimize heat loss. Two tanks were designated for the domestic hot water storage system, and the remaining two for the central air conditioning chilled water circulation make-up system.

The tanks adopted a modular design for on-site assembly and welding. Each steel plate was individually inspected before shipment, with accessories packed and shipped together via ocean freight containers to Mombasa Port. After installation, the tanks passed full-water load testing and hygiene inspection, and were put into normal operation.
